S40/S40B Heavy Wall PTFE Hoses feature an improved bend radius, decreased gas permeation and low friction of the PTFE core tube, minimizing pressure drops and deposits.
S40/S40B Heavy Wall Stainless Steel Braid PTFE hoses feature an improved bend radius, decreased gas permeation and low friction of the PTFE core tube, which minimizes pressure drops and deposits. The S40 and S40B hoses are ideal solutions for fluid handling, chemical transfer, paint, food and beverage, pharmaceutical and cosmetics applications. They are manufactured with a minimum wall thickness of .040 inches, resulting in 33% more PTFE. The additional tubing thickness allows for a superior bend radius and diminished gas permeation. S40/S40B are constructed with either a FDA compliant natural or non-FDA static-dissipating PTFE tube and they are both reinforced and protected by a durable 304 stainless steel braid. With exceptional chemical compatibility and a heavy wall that allows for improved bending capabilities, S40/S40B PTFE hoses are ideal solutions for various fluid handling, paint and industrial applications.
